April Member Meeting - Emergency Management for Business Owners

April Membership Meeting – Emergency Preparedness for Your Business

Join us for a special joint membership meeting hosted in collaboration with the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce, the Stanwood Commerce Alliance, and the Stanwood-Camano Area Foundation.

Our presenter, Sammie Keller, Community Outreach Program Coordinator with the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management, will guide businesses through how to prepare for emergencies that could impact our region.

From weather events and extended power outages to larger regional disruptions, our Stanwood–Camano community faces unique emergency planning considerations. This session will focus on how local businesses and organizations can prepare to remain resilient and operational when unexpected situations arise.

You’ll learn how to create a two-week preparedness plan for your business, covering essentials like communication, staffing, supplies, and continuity planning.

Participants will walk away with concrete tools, resources, and practical steps they can implement right away to help protect their teams, serve their customers, and strengthen community resilience.

Whether you run a small business, lead a nonprofit, or manage an organization, this is a valuable opportunity to prepare your business while connecting with fellow local leaders committed to keeping our community ready for whatever comes next.
