Basic Hand Broom Making Class

Join experienced broom maker, Becka Viets of Hexagon Textile & Broom in learning hand broom making basics. Students will learn skills to make turkey wing brooms, hawk wing hand brooms. Class will also cover broom anatomy, lore, history, a demo and hands on broom makinig time. Supplies to make two brooms are included. Recommended ages 18+, Class duration 2.5 hours. Physical abilities needed: grasping, holding, turning/rotating, maintaining tension between a stick under feet and a broom in hands.
