We’ve decided to cancel tomorrow’s event due to the ongoing threat of flooding and the need for many involved to be active in emergency response. We will consider possibly rescheduling in the future.

Please join us to celebrate the completion of reliability projects benefiting the Stanwood and Camano communities!

The PUD has recently completed a series of reliability improvements projects including the new North Camano Substation project and the 115kV Stanwood to Camano transmission line.

The event will include speeches from

Island County Commissioner Janet St. Clair

City of Stanwood Mayor Sid Roberts

PUD CEO/General Manager John Haarlow.

Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Ribbon cutting ceremony will begin promptly at noon. Tours of the substation will follow.

This event will happen rain or shine, but it could be cancelled if a winter storm occurs or if there are significant outages due to winter weather.
