Camano Lutheran Childcare
A nonprofit Christian childcare center offering full-day and before/after school care for children ages 2–12. We welcome all children regardless of race, nationality, or creed—any child who may benefit from our program is invited to join.

About Us
Established in 1981 in response to a clear need for childcare services in the Stanwood/Camano area, Camano Lutheran Church launched a nonprofit, full-day childcare program. Over the years, the program has grown while staying true to its core mission: providing a quality, caring, and safe environment where children and families can learn, grow, and respect one another.

Now Enrolling for Fall!

• Toddlers: Ages 2–3.5
• Preschool: Ages 3–6 (not yet registered for kindergarten)
• School Age: Ages 5–12
• Transportation: Provided by SCSD to and from Utsalady and Elger Bay Elementary Schools
• DSHS Approved and Welcomed!

Program Highlights

• Participates in Washington’s Early Achievers Program Learn more
• Onsite commercial kitchen providing USDA-approved meals daily
• Full indoor gym and outdoor playground
• Licensed facility and staff certified by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services
• Accepts DSHS subsidies
• Staff engage in ongoing continuing education
• Longstanding relationships between children and teachers, with multiple generations of families returning
• Chapel time twice a week, including Bible stories, singing, games, and learning about the Christian faith with Pastor Scott Brents
• Monthly participation in the Sno-Isle Library Program, including book exchanges and circle time
• Bus pick-up and drop-off available for Camano Island School District students in before/after school care
• Summer program for school-age children, including off-site field trips
